We are happy to announce that we have designated an area of our parking lot at 555 Stumbo Rd, Ontario, OH as an “Online Transaction Exchange Zone”. This zone is available for buyers and sellers utilizing websites like Craigslist to complete their sale. If you're completing an online transaction, you can make the exchange within the zone which is located in the front parking lot near Stumbo Rd between the two marked signs. You may also utilize our lobby as both locations are covered by video surveillance at all times.

The idea on the "Online Transaction Exchange Zone" is to cut down on potential fraud and robberies that can be associated with these types of transactions. While available for you to use to complete your exchange, our personnel may not participate or act as official witnesses in the transactions nor are they available for legal advice or allowed to settle civil or pricing disputes between parties involved in transactions occurring at this location. Here are a few safety tips to keep in mind when conducting such transactions:

Only do transactions with local buyers/sellers
Do not go to a transaction alone
Make a friend or family member is aware of the details
Meet in a public area like our transaction exchange zone
Don't go into someone else’s house or allow them into yours
Complete the transaction during daylight hours
Be extra cautious buying/selling valuable items
Only use cash or money orders
Trust your instincts, if it sounds like a scam it probably is
If somebody is not willing to come to the police department to do a transaction it is probably not a legitimate transaction
